US officials, Wynne discuss geo-strategic situation
Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence for Asian and Pacific Security Affairs, Dr Peter Lavoy along with Ambassador of US in Pakistan, Richard Olson called on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Khalid Shameem Wynne here on Tuesday. They remained with Chairman for some time and discussed matters related to mutual interests, said an ISPR press release. Geo-Strategic situation of the region with an emphasis on Afghanistan was also dilated upon during the meet.
