Pakistan's defence preparedness solely security driven: CJCSC

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Khalid Shameem Wynne speaking at an international seminar on ‘Security Outlook 2025 : Future Security Trends and Challenges for Defense Industry in Mounting Technological Response’ said the security situation at the regional and international level is going through transformations and will have its strategic repercussions for Pakistan. He said the challenges are grave and security situation is becoming uncertain and intricate, compelling Pakistan’s Defence Industry to develop a response which is proportionate to the challenges.

The seminar was organized by Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO) and Center for International Strategic Studies (CISS) at IDEAS 2012, Pakistan in Karachi.
