Pakistan's Defence Production only for Peace: CJCSC

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), Gen. Khalid Shameem Wynne on Thursday expressed Pakistan’s stance on regional peace and said that “We are a peace loving nation and our progress in defence production is aimed at maintaining peace, thus the apt theme Weapons for peace is evident in all facets of this exhibition”.

He was talking to the delegates at IDEAS-2012. He commended the efforts of the organizers of IDEAS saying that through such platforms, different defence production related institutions can learn from each other’s technological progress. General Wynne said in the present circumstances where the security needs are changing rapidly, exhibitions like this indeed provide a common ground for all defence production related institutions to enhance their knowledge.
