Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Asif Sandila has said that Pakistan Navy is all set to meet any challenges and will work on projects to strengthen the capability of Naval forces within the limited resources available. “We are keeping our eyes and ears open to any misadventure and to emerging challenges in the region,” the naval chief said while talking to media at Naval Headquarters on Tuesday. At the same time, the naval chief said that Gwadar Port is essential to enhance country’s economy. Before this, Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) Hassham said that the recent turbulence in Balochistan is a matter of great concern for PN. He also said that increasing US-India nexus was posing new challenges in the region.
