Armed forces are well prepared to defend country: CJCSC

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Khalid Shamim Wynne has said that the Pakistan Air Forces and Armed Forces are well prepared to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.

While visiting the ongoing exercise, Saffron Bandit 2012-13 held at an operational base of Pakistan Air Forces on Thursday, General Shamim Wynne, termed the prevailing geo-political environment and regional situation besides internal threats as unique and challenging. Therefore, he added, readiness and war preparedness have attained enhanced significance and Armed Forces always will measure up to the expectations of the nation.
