Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Chairman, Senate Committee on Defence and Defence Production today visited the Embassy of Kazakhstan and signed the condolence book on the killing of 14 Kazakh soldiers in the terror incident.  Senator Mushahid Hussain said that he had come to the Embassy of Kazakhstan on behalf of all members of the Committee and he expressed these sentiments in a meeting with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, H.E. Senator Mushahid Hussain said that Pakistan and Kazakhstan share a common enemy in the form of terrorism and both counties had similar concerns about the stability of the region particularly the situation in Afghanistan.

In this regard, Senator Mushahid Hussain referred to the tremendous sacrifices and contributions of Pakistan’s armed forces who were endeavouring to protect the state from both the enemy within and the enemy outside.
